Intelligent Design is a discredited political and social movement that tried to pretend that it was a scientific theory. It failed. Remember Creation "Science"? When that failed in the courts, they stripped away all religious trappings and re-labelled it "Intelligent Design". It didn't fly. No science was ever produced by an ID "scientist" in over twenty years. Not one dirty test tube. Plenty of coffee table books and lots of interviews on TV. No actual work.
