Is The Public Option In or Out?

By Grammy H. Is public option in or out? Who knows! Some Democrat senators have said it’s out. Obama said at a town hall that it “is not essential” to his plan. But then yesterday, his HHS secretary Kathy Sebelius said two different things about it on two different TV shows while a White House spokesman said it is still a “goal” of Obama’s.

I have to admit … I don’t think it matters AT ALL what’s in or not in the healthcare reform bill, because lefties know they can take out abortion or end of life counseling or public option or whatever else righties find objectionable and slide it all back in later when they’re not looking. All they want is to pass some form of the doomed thing so they get their socializing feet further inside the door.
