Important ObamaCare Update
Today, President Obama and the Democratic Congress are stepping closer towards enacting a government-run, taxpayer-funded health care plan. Their plan will replace the freedom of the market place and the liberty of consumer choice with an inefficient bureaucracy and higher premiums for health care. What they label as reform is nothing more than a government monopoly of one of America’s most vital industries.
According to a new PricewaterhouseCoopers study, within ten years ObamaCare will cost the average American family an extra $4,000 more per year than the current system! That is a far cry from what Obama and the Democrats would want you to believe about their proposals. The parade of misinformation must be stopped. Their rampant strides towards socialized medicine cannot continue. Aside from taking money directly from the pockets of the American household, ObamaCare taxes would rob the market place and force companies to subsidize government run health care. It is truly sad that Obama and the Democrats may really believe that sinking trillions of taxpayer dollars into another government run labyrinth of inefficiency will help Americans save money and stay healthy. It is even sadder that they are fooling hard working Americans into accepting much higher premiums and more taxes to pay for fewer choices at the doctor’s office and longer lines to be treated. Instead of eroding our capitalist economy with socialized medicine, Republicans have pushed for reforms to permit the free market to work more efficiently by allowing health insurance to be sold across state lines. Republicans want to allow small companies to work together to buy health insurance in order to drive down costs, like large corporations and unions do. Republicans have fought for and the Democratic Party has passionately fought against efforts to eliminate frivolous jackpot jury awards. A cap on these jackpot awards would cut $56 Billion from the Democrats current health-care bill! Even so, Senator Casey stated this past Sunday that a $250K cap on these frivolous lawsuits would be “insulting to our justice system.”Tell President Obama, Senator Casey and Democrat cronies that what is insulting is their refusal to accept common sense reforms that would save Billions and Billions of our tax dollars.
With higher costs, less reliable care and fewer choices, the Democrat’s health care reform proposals are simply not justified.
